  • Mike LightfootCEO

Mike is an experienced and award-winning CEO, and has lead companies such as Milmeq Ltd, a global exporter of protein processing equipment and Buckley Systems Ltd, a high tech manufacturing business also exporting to the global market.
As CEO of Milmeq, Mike successfully led the company's expansion and was recognised by winning the Supreme Award at the 2015 Westpac Business Excellence Awards Auckland, and the 2015 New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Excellence in Innovation award. He also led Buckley Systems Ltd to win the American Chamber of Commerce Exporter of the Year award and then win the  overall Supreme Business award.
New Zealand is a long, thin, rugged, sparsely populated trading nation, miles from anywhere. An efficient supply chain is essential to our well-being, but hard to deliver. I love a challenge and strive to drive improvement within the businesses I lead. Logistics is an exciting area of business and as our population grows, import and export simply grows with it. That’s an exciting opportunity.
