Nexus Logistics manage the intermodal freight hub at Wiri (WIFH).
WIFH currently processes 21 trains per week between the hub and the Port of Auckland,
through its private rail siding, enabling customers to both deliver and uplift containers,
without incurring any extra travel time, and reducing associated transport costs, by
eliminating the need for carriers to drive in and out of the city.

Other services provided via the hub include;

  • devan and packing of containers, including cross dock services for general FAK plus ambient and cold storage products
  • short to medium term container storage for general purpose FCL containers, as well provision of 50 reefer plugs
  • empty container transitional handling and storage and import/export equipment triangulation
  • rail network services to/from and between our hub network
